Pakistan squad for T20 World Cup and T20 series against Australia
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday finalized a 15-member team for the Twenty20 World Cup and T20 series against Australia.
According to sources, five changes have been made in the current team. Kamran Akmal, Abdul Razzaq, Imran Nazir, Yasir Arafat and Raza Hassan have been included in the team.
On the other hand, the unfortunate players who were dropped from the team includes Ahmed Shahzad, Abdul Rehman, Shakeel Ansar and Khalid Lateef.
The decisions have been made in the meeting presided by Chairman Zaka Ashraf in Lahore. Selector Iqbal Qasim and Coach David Wattmore also participated in the meeting.
All rounders Abdul Razzaq, Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik, Sohail Tanveer and Yasir Arafat will be part of this team which, according to PCB, will be the same one playing against Australia.
According to the PCB release that announced the squad, Hafeez has been named captain till the end of 2012 and will continue to lead.
